Gayla worked 24 years with a larger retailer in the Kalamazoo area. She started working part time for NHC.  Two years later she decided to make it full-time, and finds that her love of helping people has a true fit at this store.  "The staff, the customers, and the positive atmosphere make a job at NHC seem like a second home," she says of her now ten years and counting there.  She enjoys gardening and spending time with Tim, her husband of 30 years, and son Greg, and wife Anna.

Jill is the NHC’s assistant-manager and grocery buyer. She has been in the natural foods industry for 6 years (4 at the NHC).   Jill’s love of the Natural Food Industry gives her a passion for finding great products for our shelves and offering great customer service!  Looking for a new product, or something you can't find on our shevles?  She's your "go-to" girl!

Todd is our “Mr. Friendly”, his infectious personality brightens up everyone who walks in the store.   He promotes happiness wherever he is.  Todd shopped at the NHC for 5 years before beginning to work at the NHC, we call him our resident expert!  Being a vegan for over 10 years, he is a great resource for any customer looking for information or recipes for vegan living.

Michael is a NHC Team Leader and our Supplement Specialist.  He is currently pursuing his Biomedical Science degree at WMU.  His future plans include attending a naturopathic graduate school.  Michael is a vegetarian that focuses on eating gluten-free.   

Mike is our Backroom Manager and Bulk Buyer.  He's been part of the NHC family for over 3 years.  Mike lives a vegan lifestyle and is a great asset to the store. 

Cynithia has been part of our NHC family for over 4 years.   Having been raised in the natural foods industry (her parents founded Naomi’s Health Foods), her enthusiasm for raw/vegan cooking makes her a super star at the NHC.  She attended Western Michigan University majoring in Dietetics.
